Hi, I’m Abby—mother of 10, midwife, homeschooling parent, and lifelong dog owner.

Our home is always full—of children, dogs, and a deep respect for the natural design of both.

My love for dogs began in childhood with purebreds by my side, and it never left.

I started teaching puppy training classes at 14 and have spent decades since owning, raising, and working with a wide range of breeds—Cane Corsos, Great Danes, American Bullies, Belgian Malinois, livestock guardians, and the occasional brilliant, lovable mutt.

I’ve trained alongside some of the best in the business, learning multiple styles and philosophies while always coming back to what works: clarity, leadership, respect, and trust in the design.

We wouldn’t have survived without the design. That’s true for families—and it’s true for dogs. Dogs were bred with purpose. They thrive under structure and boundaries, and they struggle when we expect them to be anything other than what they are. That’s why our training program is family-centered, respectful of breed instinct, correction- and praise-based, and focused on building trust and obedience without treats or endless commands.

I built this business so my family and friends and I can share in the glory of raising and training good dogs, as they should be. The design isn’t flawed.
